Tea House

An existing raised walkway leading nowhere was the starting point for this commission. Sitting high in a relatively flat landscape the house and path has far reaching views across garden, farmland, towards water meadow and the river Waveney. We proposed adding a Tea House (other forms of drinks also allowed), which would satisfactorily terminate the raised path and exploit the unobstructed views of the wider landscape.

Overhanging eaves were supported by brackets which continue down to form mullions between windows. The circular roof is covered with cedar shingles and the space is top lit.
