New Orangery

We were engaged to produce proposals for an orangery eye-catcher, to be located within the parkland of a country house in Hampshire. For our design we drew on the work of the country house architect William Burn (who designed and built the main house). The main house was designed during the later phase of Burn’s career so we prepared two options for the glazing; one reflecting the neo Jacobean style he frequently designed in and another reflecting a simpler glazing arrangement referencing Burn’s earlier work and Georgian training.
