Our client, an accomplished composer, purchased part of a large Edwardian villa, situated in the heart of a Conservation Area in Suffolk. The property, although sizeable, lacked a room in which a grand piano could be located.
We produced designs for a music room, dining room, boot room and entrance with dressing rooms and bedrooms to the first floor. The design echoed elements of the original house before alteration during the 1940’s, and the accommodation was arranged to provide some separation between the entrance forecourt and the private garden area.
The project has received planning permission.
