Our client, an accomplished composer, owns part of a large Edwardian villa in the heart of a Conservation Area in Suffolk. Although sizeable it lacked a room big enough for his grand piano.
We produced designs for a music room, dining room, boot room and entrance with dressing rooms and bedrooms to the first floor. The design echoed elements of the original house before alteration during the 1940’s, and the accommodation was arranged to provide some separation between the entrance forecourt and the private garden area.
The project has received planning permission.
