New Arts & Crafts House

We are delighted to have received planning permission for this new house in Walberswick, Suffolk.

The new house has been designed to reflect the local vernacular, specifically the styling of the arts and crafts period; an architectural style that exists in Walberswick as a result of several imaginative villas designed by Frank Jennings (1877 –1961), many of which have been worked on by this office. It is intended that the new house will set a benchmark for traditional design in the village, showcasing local materials and craftsmen.

Where possible, the house is to be constructed from sustainable materials, with minimal use made of cement, plastics and building products with a high chemical content.

As an office, we look forward to this project progressing to site in the near future.
